Kiro represents the soul of an enchanted territory which, like few others, knows how to stimulate creative energies. The Laboratory is in fact located at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, near the so-called “Versante della Magia” , a place that has fueled myths for centuries and is the scene of wonderful stories. A territory in which, for centuries, a virtuous symbiosis has been achieved between man and nature. This is a fundamental value for the company which today intends to reaffirm the principles of ethics and sustainability with absolute conviction. The GREEN-K Project, in fact, represents the synthesis of the Kiro philosophy: to implement a model of ecology of thought, production and relationship with the social context. In a slogan: think, make and live green .
Seràfiko , this is the name of the first “green” collection launched by Kiro, proposes garments inspired by the bucolic and pastoral context. A microcosm that characterized the territory of the Sibillini Mountains until over the middle of the last century. Simple values, rhythms punctuated by natural cycles, respect for creation. A world that had fascinated the Oscar-winning director Pietro Germi who, right here, wanted to set the famous comedy “Serafino” with Adriano Celentano. A film as “simple”, in the plot and in the tones, as it is evocative of a contrast that is still dramatically in existence today: that between economic development and the conservation of rurality.
Kiro created the entire collection using the highest quality eco-cachomere from the Pecci 1884 Manufacturing Company – Filati Naturali. Each garment is accompanied by a tag, in which seeds of some flowers typical of the Italian mountain areas are inserted: poppy, cornflower and daisy. The tag, if planted in pots or directly on the ground, will favor the flowering of these beautiful and colorful species. A way, not only symbolic, to promote a noble thought.
